    Miss Gay Kingston Returns

    A Community Crown. Reimagined.

    Katarokwi/Kingston — it’s time.

Miss Gay Kingston is officially returning in a new era.

Rooted in community leadership, mentorship, and drag excellence, this reimagined crown celebrates the artists who make Kingston’s drag scene vibrant, diverse, and unapologetically joyful.

    Miss Gay Kingston is:

    ✨ A platform for advocacy
✨ A spotlight for local talent
✨ A celebration of all drag styles
    ✨ A grassroots, Kingston-first cultural title

The title of “Miss” is symbolic — this competition is open to drag artists of all gender identities and experience levels who are connected to the Kingston drag community.

This is not just a pageant. It is:

    • A mentorship space.
    • A leadership platform.
    • A legacy-building institution.

The annual titleholder will serve as an ambassador for Kingston drag — representing our city with professionalism, creativity, and pride.

In honour of legacy and foundation, the system also recognizes:

    • Empress 1 — Jas Morgan
    • Empress 2 — Tyffanie Morgan

These honorary lifetime titles celebrate the individuals who helped shape the crown’s history and future.

Miss Gay Kingston will proudly collaborate with community partners and events, including Pride initiatives such as Kingston Pride, while remaining uniquely rooted in Kingston’s local drag culture.

This relaunch is guided by clear values:

    • Inclusivity
    • Transparency
    • Artistic diversity
    • Respectful community dialogue
    • Growth through accountability

We are building something sustainable. Something joyful and something that reflects Kingston — not just as a city, but as a creative queer community.

Applications, pageant details, and dates will be announced soon.

    The crown returns!
